A large map of the Holy Land, divided by tribes, with many biblical place names and two fine cartouches. In many cases, alternative spellings of place names is given.. Mountains and hills are represented pictorially, including Calvary and the Mount of Olives, on either side of Jerusalem. The map was published by Jaillot in collaboration with Guillaume Sanson, and based on Nicolas Sanson’s map of 1662.
