The regions of Upper and Lower Burgundy in France, showing major towns such as Dijon, and Beaune (Beaulne), as well as numerous villages. Included are the famous wine producing areas of Chablis, Côte de Nuits, and Côte de Beaune. There are geographical inaccuracies due to the early date (France was not accurately surveyed until a century later), but it undeniably a decorative and attractive map. The coloring of the cartouche and mileage chart is particularly fine.
